Chicken Wire Photo Frames & Fabric Covered Push Pin Cork Board

This photo display is made with a push pin cork board, white burlap, chicken wire and thin strips of wood lath which is painted turquoise, distressed and stained with classic grey stain. It can be hung either vertical or horizontal. This is definitely my favorite!

I purchased a couple cork boards and framed picture prints from a thrift store. This was a framed print which I removed the backing and glass. I gave the frame a light sanding and with a chip brush, I painted it to have a distressed look. I added chicken wire with a light duty staple gun.

I stained this cork board with classic grey stain. Using fabric, adhesive spray, a butter knife and lots of patience, this adorable cork board has a new makeover.
